Well. That last post made me remember how much I love this interview of Neil Patrick Harris.
Part One
Part Two
Favourite Quotes:
"I just wear the jodhpurs and have the big... what's that called?"
"Oh the voice-make-you-louder-a-thon."
"Vin Diesel sings Out Tonight."
"One day maybe. One day."
"He [Danny Bonaduce] smells a bit like biscuits."
"I wouldn't have expected that."
"Fred, who's our Cairn terrier - "
"Cairn terrier. A Scottish dog?"
"Yeah, named Fred, appropriately."
"It's very hot in Albuquerque, and some parts of that town smell like vomit."
"Vegas is clean everywhere! There's no vomit smell there!"
"And this one's a rooster, because I love -"
"Heyyyy! Neil Patrick Harris, everybody!"
For those days that feel like a Monday, even when they're not.

I'm pumped up.
I think I'll share why:

II) She's Country (Jason Aldean)
III) Thanksgiving!

"Parental Advisory"
So I've finally ventured uptown to the comics store.
It is now probably my favourite place ever.
On my recent trip, I bought The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of! Booster Gold #10 and Deadpool Vol. 1 Secret Invasion.
Then, of course, I went to the Strand and found The Greatest Hero You've Never Heard Of! Booster Gold #36, Red Hood: The Lost Days #2 and chapters 1 & 3 of Supernatural Beginning's End. Clearly, I need to head back to Midtown and try and find chapter 2, because I can't exactly skip it.
So, I read Supernatural chapter 1 last night, and I love it.
Sam was pissy, of course, and Dean was trying to be mediator, as always, and John was cold, as usual. But I liked that there were excerpts from John's journal; they sort of showed that John knew that Sam was like him and that he really did try not to be a hardass when it came to his youngest. ARGH, but the part when they're with the Naga hurt me deeply. John was mad at Cox for shooting the Naga after doing nothing wrong, and seemingly never really having done anything wrong before either, and that endeared him to me, because it showed he wasn't a total monster (which I never really thought he was, but it's nice to have solid proof). And then, of course, 6 panels later, he backhands the shit out of Sammy, causing him to (seriously plan to) walk away, and cue Dean's heart to break. Sammy is always my favourite, even though he's a bitch, and makes bad decisions, and hurts Dean's feelings pretty much alltheeffintime. idek. I just love him.
And then, after finishing SPN and solemnly shaking my head, I moved on the the Deadpool.
I love Wade Wilson, because he's a sassy bitch. I don't have a ton to say about this one, to be honest. I just love Deadpool, and that's really all that matters.
I'd rather not read the Red Hood or Booster Gold until I have the earlier issues, but they were such good quality and so cheap that I couldn't resist.
Erm. That's it.

Top 10 Disney Songs Ever
(with a lot of honourable mentions, because Disney is really good at music)
10.
One Jump Ahead - Aladdin
It's just so catchy, and upbeat, but seriously, listen to the words. It's kinda sad. :\
9.
Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride - Lilo & Stitch
Another catchy tune, plus I have a weakness for songs that have other languages dispersed within.
8.
You'll Be In My Heart - Tarzan
This would be higher on the list, because I love it so freakin' much, and it's by Phil Collins. HOWEVER, it makes me cry. EVERY. TIME.
7.
Bells of Notre Dame - Hunchback of Notre Dame
This is basically my second favourite Disney movie, after the Lion King, and this song is chilling, and I love Clopin, and he has this ridiculous note right at the end of song that is mostly drowned out by the crescendo, but it's so epic.
6.
I Just Can't Wait to Be King - Lion King
I guess I just really have a thing for catchy Disney tunes, because they're, uhm...catchy? Simba is just so cute!
5.
Colors of the Wind - Pocahontas
I'll admit I have an uber weakness for this movie. It's just that the heroine is Native American! Like me! I don't know. When I was little, that was awesome. And then, this song played and it was amazing, and I've got it on my iPod even. Just so much love.
4.
Won't Say (I'm in Love) - Hercules
I remember really loving Megara, but I can't think of why, except for the line, "I'm a damsel, I'm in distress. I can handle this. Have a nice day!" Oh, and of course, this song. Her voice is just rough and low and I love voices like that.
3.
God Help the Outcasts - Hunchback of Notre Dame
See? Love this movie. Love Esmerelda. Just love. I guess, besides my thing for catchy songs, I also enjoy the sad ones? idek.
2.
I'll Make a Man Out of You - Mulan
Okay, so this song is just awesome, but I'm partially biased, I think, since this song was a really big part of my high school memories. Like, I can't even begin to describe why, but take my word for it, this song is really majestic when sung in a great harmony by a small class trying to waste time.
1.
Be Prepared - Lion King
This is probably the best Disney song every recorded. Clearly, this is just my opinion, but really, who doesn't just get chills with Scar's seductively evil voice and the fact that this is how they pretty much introduce the plot to kill Mufasa, and man, I just love this song. I listen to it pretty much every day before class.
Honourable Mentions:
- pretty much the rest of the Lion King soundtrack
- After Today and On the Open Road from A Goofy Movie
- Prince Ali from Aladdin
- Court of Miracles (more Clopin!) from Hunchback of Notre Dame
- Reflection from Mulan
- Go the Distance from Hercules

Wronski Feint!
I love being creative!
I'm on a broom,
I'm on a broom,
Everybody look at me, 'cause I'm flyin' on a broom.
I'm on a broom,
I'm on a broom,
Take a good hard look at the mother fuckin' broom.
I'm on a broom, mother fucker, take a look at this,
I'm straight floatin' in the air, tryina catch a snitch.
Dodgin' bludgers, cheerin' chasers in the red and gold,
You can't catch me mother fucker, 'cause I'm on a 'Bolt.
Take a picture, trick,
I'm a champ, bitch,
We drinking Butterbeer brew
'cause it's so rich.
I got my Quidditch team,
and all my Gryffindors,
I'm winning House Cups,
when I'm not winning wars.
I'm on my Firebolt, doin' flips and shit,
Pullin' Wronski Feints, makin' e'erbody upset.
But this is Quidditch and I ain't crashed it yet,
I'm Harry Potter, mother fucker, don't you ever forget.
I'm on a broom and
it's going fast and
there's a pretty good chance
I'm gonna crash-land.
I'm king of the pitch,
on a broom like Viktor.
When I catch the snitch,
All ya see is a quick blur.
Pullin' Wronski Feints, makin' e'erbody upset.
But this is Quidditch and I ain't crashed it yet,
I'm Harry Potter, mother fucker, don't you ever forget.
